A new course in Intercultural Entrepreurship for Sustainable development starting in January 2008.

In the the beginning of 2008 a new course on Interculturality, entrepreeurship in retalion to a more sustainable Development will start. The initial participants are from Tanzania, Uganda and Sweden but we hope to become a world wide course. The course is very much a result of the discussions held at the Intercultural seminar in 2006 and the different networks that were present. The need to find praxisbased sustainable solutions locally and discuss it in a global setting.

Intercultural Entrepreneurship for a
Sustainable Development
The Academy for Sustainable Development, Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan and University West offers an interesting education
– As a network study circle, as a university course–or both!

Welcome to a course
Not ABOUT

FOR
Intercultural
Entrepreneurship for
Sustainable Development

In order to create a global sustainable development we believe we need to start with ourselves and our everyday surroundings.
Meeting other people and cultures will make new perspectives possible, new perspectives on how we live our lives. Meeting different outlooks will also enable new possibilities for creating a sustainable development.
The entrepreneurial approach emphasizes doing; to shift from thoughts and words to action.
In other words a course where we constantly connect theory to practice!

Course objectives
• To understand and discuss different perspectives upon sustainable development.
• Co-operations with individuals, organisations and companies.
• Practical work with sustainable development in a local setting
• Participation in various networks on a local, regional and global level.
